(SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP) – On the 25th of June 2016 at approximately 1:15 pm, Frontenac Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Ambulance Services and the Fire Department responded to a serious two vessel incident on Buck Lake in South Frontenac Township.
Initial police investigation determined that an 18 year old male was a passenger on a Sea Doo, when he was ejected off the Sea Doo and into the path of an 18 foot fishing boat. The male was struck by the boat.
The 18 year old was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. He was wearing a Personal Floatation Device (PDF) at the time of the incident.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) was called to the scene. OPP are continuing with the investigation.
