(Prescott, Ont.) – Between Monday October 31st to Sunday November 6th, 2016, the Prescott Office of the Grenville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 66 general occurrences.
Of these occurrences, 6 were in Edwardsburgh – Cardinal Township, 20 in Augusta Township, 25 in the town of Prescott, 12 on highway 401 and 416.
On November the 6th, officers responded to break and enter to a shed, on County Road 15, in Augusta Township. Police also responded to a break and enter to a residence, on Dundas Street, in Cardinal. Both of the break and enters took place during the daytime. Easily sellable items, such as generators and tools remain to be a target item for the thief.
Impaired driving continues to be a problem. On November 1st, 53 year old Deborah BOLOGNA, of Prescott, was charged with: driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in blood. This female driver was observed driving impaired on Park Street, Prescott at approximately 2:30am.
On November 6th, 34 year old Ryan FRASER, pf Augusta Township, was charged with driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in blood and driving while ability impaired by alcohol. This male driver was involved in a motor vehicle accident at approximately 1am, on Park Street, Prescott.
