Congratulations to WDMH Pharmacist, Dr. Mohamed Gazarin, who was recently honoured with the Hospital Practice in a Rural Setting Award.
The award is presented by the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists – Ontario Branch.
According to the Society, the award honours pharmacists for their innovative efforts and important advancements in hospital pharmacies in rural settings. The award recognizes recipients for their creativity to innovate and find better ways to do things, their persistence and resilience, their courage to take risks, and, above all, their outstanding talent.
“Mohamed is very deserving of this award and we are lucky to have him as part of our WDMH team. He exemplifies our commitment to compassionate excellence for patients and families,” notes Joanne Leclair, Pharmacy Manager.
Mohamed travelled to Toronto to receive his award, noting: “This achievement is due to the amazing team we have here at WDMH. In all of my time here, I have never heard ‘no’ being said for any new initiative or idea.”
