A slow moving upper disturbance over Lake Huron is expected to generate significant rainfall amounts over much of Eastern Ontario.
Rainfall warning in effect for:
Brockville – Prescott
Gananoque – Mallorytown
Merrickville-Wolford – Kemptville
Westport – Charleston Lake
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
Periods of rain, heavy at times, will continue into tonight with total rainfall amounts likely reaching 40 to 100 mm by Tuesday morning.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
