Ottawa-Gatineau traffic updates for March 13

Good morning commuters!

Those of you who have pals spending the week away somewhere warm are not going to be happy.

We’re in for more snow right across the region.

It fell overnight, it’s falling now and will fall all day.

The issue for the commute this morning is visibility, because so far it’s mostly just wet out there.

Of course, much of the awfulness which usually comes from late-season snow events will be diluted by the fact that it’s March break for many Ottawa families.

That’s not the case in Gatineau, though.

Meantime, the strike continues at Carleton University, so expect slow downs going past — but especially headed to and from — the campus.

Have a great day!
