China Cloud Hopper hacking hit several tech firms, including major Huawei competitor




A Reuters investigation has found that a campaign tied to the Chinese government resulting in indictments last December ensnared at least eight major technology firms, touching five of the world’s 10 biggest tech service providers. The targets included Ericsson, which has been racing against China’s Huawei Technologies to build infrastructure for 5G networks expected to underpin future hyper-connected societies.
