OPP Releases statement on Domestic Investigation, Assault, Break In and Robbery

(South Dundas) – On May 24, 2016 at approximately 3:50 am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Merkley Street, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult female and her husband resulted in the male causing damage to her property.

Prescription Drug Drop-off day a success

(Smiths Falls) – Prescription Drug Drop Off Day was a huge success in Smiths Falls and across the Country. This past Saturday, May 21, 2016, the Smiths Falls Police Service with the assistance of the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Health Unit and the Smiths Falls Municipal Drug Strategy Committeeall worked together to help local residents safely dispose of unused and unwanted medications.
