Brockville - Jeff Severson, who represents the Mike Daoust Foundation, was on hand Thursday morning at CIBC to present Emily Morrison with a financial contribution and a number of gas cards.
Emily's son Kael will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant on November 1st in Toronto. Kael is expected to stay in Toronto for up to six months and the support of the Foundation will help with some of the travel expenses.
The Mike Daoust Foundation helps local families who are fighting cancer and disease by providing financial assistance to off-set costs associated with travelling for treatments etc. The Foundation also gives bursaries to a graduating Brockville Braves player; and a graduating male and female student at St. Mary Catholic High School.
