Freezing rain warning in effect for:

Brockville - Prescott
Merrickville-Wolford - Kemptville
Freezing rain is expected Sunday afternoon and evening.

Periods of freezing rain are expected to develop Sunday afternoon and persist well into the evening. Temperatures will slowly rise through the afternoon and evening which will change the freezing rain over to rain Sunday evening in most places.

However, areas near the Ottawa Valley will likely take longer to rise above the freezing mark. These areas could see the freezing rain persist into Sunday night.

Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
