Congratulations to the City of Brockville for its new funding for 2 of the sections of the Brock Trail system, however any funding under the auspices of the Brock Trail CANNOT be used for the proposed Laurier bi-directional, segregated, bollard lined, bike lanes. This scenic pathway is paved to accommodate bicycles, roller blades, wheelchairs and strollers.” The proposed Laurier bike lanes are segregated SINGLE use and do not fall under the definition of the Brock Trail.
